Classification society RINA and automation firm ABB have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) establishing a collaborative relationship with the goal of creating ‘new ideas to cut back emissions in transport for varied vessel varieties’. 

The businesses collectively will promote the usage of hydrogen and modern propulsion expertise whereas exploring options reminiscent of gas cell methods with carbon seize.
